Re Opening The Gate

 

Welcome back! We have missed you and are so excited to worship with you again very soon! Please be assured, that we will be in strict compliance with the Social Distancing Mandate set by the CDC and our government.  

 

Our staff has worked very hard on finding the best way to re-open! We have met together and prayed together, asking God, to show us how to re-open in the right way and at the right time. So, in saying this, we will re- open starting on Sunday May 24th. 

 

Sanitizing: Sterilizing our facility will be a top priority.  We have a detailed cleaning schedule in place to clean and sanitize our facilities by wiping every surface, knob, handle, door jam, seat and any other surface you may touch after service.

POLICY AND PROCEDURES:  RE-OPENING PUBLIC GATHERINGS

 

  • Practice Social Distancing: At least six feet between you and anyone that does not live in your household, while on the property – inside or out.

  • Max Group: Due to the social distancing we will have some space challenges. So, to overcome this challenge, we will offer a 10:30am Family Worship Service with (if needed overflow in Student Center)

  • Vulnerable Population: 55 or older and high-risk health community. We encourage you to prayerfully consider joining us at 10:30am or if you feel more comfortable staying home, please stay home and join us on our live stream online. The 10:30am service will be live streamed and archived so that you can watch them at any time. Individual Safety:

  • 6 Foot Distance: Yes, for anyone that does not live in your household.

  • Handshakes: No, even though we will want to, we have to practice social distancing.

  • Hugs: No, even though we will want to, we have to practice social distancing.

  • Mask: Optional, if you feel more comfortable wear a mask then please wear one.

  • Meet and Greets: No, even though we will want to, we have to practice social distancing.

  • Sanitizer Stations: Yes, use the hand sanitizer at the Sanitizing Station as you enter and exit the building.

  • Sick Must Stay Home: Yes, if you are not feeling well or have a fever, you must stay at home.

  • Waves and Smiles: Yes, we encourage this! So, let’s give many waves and smiles!

Church Services:​

​

  • Livestream: We will live stream the 10:30am Family Worship Service

  • 10:30am Worship Service:

    • Family Worship Service – We will sit families in the same household together and then practice social distancing.

    • Kids will sit with families – We will provide an activity bag for each kid.

    • Overflow will be in the Student Center – We will watch the service on the big screen and practice social distancing.

 

Church Activities:

  • Bathrooms: Yes, Wash your hands with soap and hot water in the restroom. 

  • Dismissal: We will dismiss one row at a time.

  • Kid’s Church or Nursery: Yes we have opened back up our Kids and Nursery Programs.

  • Life Groups: We will continue to meet on Zoom.

  • Seating: Spaced Sanctuary Seating

  • Standing in the foyer: No, before service please find a seat and socialize from your seats maintaining social distancing. 

  • Tithes and Offering: Will be placed in the offering box on the wall at the back of the sanctuary. We do encourage for you to continue to give online.
